Probably dead battery - Try your key to unlock/open the trunk - gain access to the battery and temporarily connect 12VDC to the terminals to supply power so you can unlock your doors. My opinions are free - you'll get exactly what you pay for!
Yes, the CA battery is a CR2032, same battery you would use in a desktop PC motherboard. You pop the key out the back of your fob and use a dime and twist in the thin slot below the key hole, it pops a small cover off the bottom/back of the fob, that is your CA battery.
My 2018 330e aux battery also needs replacing: Max eDrive not possible due to a "system request". My local BMW dealer does have the battery, which is nice, but they want $520 plus install $. The same VARTA battery is available for 72 Euro from spareto.com in Europe, I elected to get the BOSCH for 81USD.
